Fourroux Prosthetics is accredited by The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetic & Pedorthics (ABC), which sets the highest standards for quality care. ABC practitioner certification, facility accreditation and mandatory continuing education programs represent the profession’s most rigorous professional achievements.
The standards that Fourroux Prosthetics needs to comply with in order to be ABC accredited are expectations for the physical environment and organizational function of prosthetic patient care. These expectations and standards include topics such as organizational process, patient care, performance management, product safety, facility safety and supplier compliance.
In addition to our facility being ABC accredited, our Certified Prosthetists and supporting staff are highly trained and educated in the latest prosthetic techniques to manage a patient’s care. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow up and practice management.
Our staff is committed to continued prosthetics education, which allows us to provide each individual with customized devices for their particular physical challenge. Our staff works closely with patients, their families and their Healthcare Professionals to design a customized approach for each of our patients.
This commitment demands that the Fourroux Prosthetics staff stay educated and certified on the latest and most advanced prosthetic techniques and componentry available. This ensures that our patients are provided the best possible prosthetic choices to suit their particular needs and desires.
